We will present our secure messaging app for enterprises and public authorities on the Infosec 2019 in London from the 4th to 6th June. We are going to show how businesses can use a "secure Whatsapp alternative for the enterprise" in order to ensure company-wide security and compliance with the GDPR as well as to improve productivity and team communication in the messaging era.
The external communication with partners, customers and clients can be a relevant topic for an enterprise messaging app. Some examples are the collaboration with partners on a project, the follow-up discussion of a workshop with clients, the exchange of information with a patient, the scheduling of a meeting with a customer, etc. While these use cases can improve the productivity, the external communication can also be a potential security leak of client data and intellectual property of the enterprise. Teamwire provides two different options for the external communication in order to balance productivity and security and meet different requirements.

Businesses often wonder what cloud or hosting environment is best for their organization. Because of different models and services, one cloud is actual not equal to another cloud. This also applies to the cloud of a secure enterprise messaging app. It is not just about differences in terms of privacy and security, e.g. whether data is stored in a European cloud or on own servers, but also about questions related to maintenance, connectivity, scalability and costs.
