Advanced User Management and Compliance with New Administrator Portal Features

One important aspect of Teamwire is fast, comprehensive and professional administration of all users of an organization.

This ensures quick roll-outs, comprehensive access management, company-wide security, high service levels and easy support of users. Teamwire recently released various new features for its administrator portal in order to further improve user management and enable advanced corporate compliance.

Full Multi-Domain Capability

Until now Teamwire was able to route different domains to the same server, but an administrator was only able to manage one domain per tenant in the administrator portal. Teamwire is now fully multi-domain capable and multiple domains can be easily managed in the same tenant. That means administrators can define, which domains belong to their organization, and can then manage all their users with different email domains in one place. This gives a better overview of the users of an organization, improves access management, strengthens security, and saves the administrator considerable time. Our advanced multi-domain capability is perfect for enterprises with several business units and/or subsidiaries with various domains. Depending on the preferences and needs of the administrators these organizations can then be managed individually, grouped or even hybrid.

Advanced Filtering Mechanisms

Filtering mechanisms are important for administrators, because they provide transparency and make regular tasks much faster. Administrators often want to know, which users have already registered, whose invitation is still pending, whose access is blocked, who is active, etc. We have had basic filters in the past, but Teamwire now offers advanced filtering mechanisms to easily allow these kind of evaluations. Besides Teamwire now comes with a much more intuitive and compelling user interface for these operations.

Bulk Operations

Another feature to improve usability and save time for administrators: Bulk operations. Administrators often have the need to perform specific operations for multiple users at once, for example:

  • Several employees have not registered to Teamwire yet and the administrator needs to re-send invitations to them,
  • Some users have lost their devices and the administrator needs to block their access temporarily,
  • Employees have left the organization and their users need to be deleted in the administrator portal.

Teamwire now provides bulk operations for the most relevant user management tasks of administrators.

Revisor Access

In addition, Teamwire now features a revisor access to its administrator portal. Large organizations often have dedicated auditors, controllers and/or revisors, who need to ensure data protection, labour law and regulatory compliance. These people can now have access to the administrator portal in order to check user management, service activity, organizational configurations, data protection policies and compliance settings, but without being able to make changes.
